Drawing on his own experience as a blogger, Daniel Bourrion reflects on what it means to blog and the role blogs might play in developing thinking within and about the profession. He looks at the author's (self-defined?) legitimacy, the links between the biblioblogosphere and actual libraries, the potential for turning blogs into forums for debate, and the way such blogs might complement more institutionalised librarianship platforms.
