Press panoramas: the Bpi-doc database and European reglementation
Since 1995, the Bibliothèque publique d'information has offered its users an on-line press database, Bpi-doc. The transposition of the European Directive on "copyright and related rights in the information society" gives rise to misgivings about the very serious restrictions to accessing this type of information regrouped under the heading of "press panoramas".
