Exchanges and transfers: French public libraries on the international scene

As the situation of public reading in France had radically changed in the last decades, international relations have changed as a result, in the sense of a readjustment of transfers of lessons and skills. This international demand focuses notably on the architecture of the new municipal libraries, the development of inherited collections - on the spot and from a distance, services for the public, work in partnership with mother and child protection (PMI) structures, or else with contemporary literary production.
