At the library of Le Moulin: at the house of Aragon and Elsa Triolet

The private library of Aragon and his wife Elsa Triolet is preserved at Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, in the country house that the author bequeathed to the state on his death in 1982. In this old mill, which has now become a place of remembrance, the collection, consisting of about 30,000 books, many of them dedicated - but also of archives, photographs and engravings - reflects the complex personality of its owners, their taste, and their commitments.
