University teachers and their libraries : about a recent inquiry
A survey about professional reading and attitudes towards libraries among 933 French university teachers has been realized in November 1993. Searchers and teachers in higher education have the same cultural behaviour, but their attitude towards information varies according to their field of research. Most of the teachers work more with the libraries of their field than with the university library. Their views about libraries often differ from librarians'.
