The book in the region Centre : the action of the State
There is a lot of tasks for the « conseiller pour le livre » in the regions. The four most important are : to consolidate and intensify the public reading network, to develop the reading, to support the commercial network of the book and to set the cooperation between libraries. Non-official, the fifth task is quite real. It consists in helping the creation : the support or advice to the writers and their setting in residence. In 1992, three writers enjoy it in the region Centre.
