Translating and analyzing library activity: new tools and changes in evaluation practices. A joint interview with Odile Jullien Cottart and Cécile Touitou • While libraries have a long tradition of evaluation, this activity has remained current with practices that are evolving. It is worth mentioning the recent work of the Afnor/CN 46-8 commission "Information and documentation - Quality, statistics and evaluation of results" presented during the one-day conference on May 21, 2021. Evaluation in libraries remains a vital subject which continues to develop in response to the multiplication of exploitable data sources, the different expectations held by governments and users, and the evolution of professionals' skills.
