Access all readers: Implementing accessibility strategies at the Bibliothèque Publique d'Information in Paris
The BPI has a twofold role in improving accessibility for disabled readers. Not only is the site fully open to them, but it runs a nationwide programme overseeing best practice in the library sector. The library, due to undergo renovations shortly, is faced with an urgent need to tackle the issue of disabled access and will be experimenting with new accessibility solutions.
