The Charfet workshop: Restoring and promoting cultural heritage in the Middle East
A team from COPEIA (formerly the Centre for the Conservation of the Book in Arles) played an active role in planning, implementing and running a workshop to restore and promote the cultural heritage of Charfet in Lebanon. The project included a major programme to preserve and digitize the collections and to train local staff to ensure the project’s longevity.
