Consultancy in the field of public reading, or how to improve cohesion between public service, territorial authority and means
This article presents the various consultancy services – diagnosis, urban development plan, programming, audit – in the field of public reading. It points out the advantages of outsourcing these functions, which have considerably evolved during the last twenty years, to external service providers with the competencies and expertise necessary to offer global assistance and customized services to libraries participating in a new approach to territorial development.
