Professional training in Bulgaria
Education in library and information science in Bulgaria has a long history, and has come under various and contradictory influences. However, in recent years, a stable system of professional training comparable to the European context has been set up. The article analyses the particularities of the development of library and information science education in Bulgaria. The current situation is also briefly presented.
