A foreign language literature collection in the original language at the Alcazar
The Department of Languages and Literature at the Alcazar Municipal Library, which opened in 2004, has a regional mission offering a stock of literary texts in their original version in the six foreign languages present in Marseilles: Arabic, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Although the constraints in terms of acquisition and bibliographical management are important, the long term development and enhancement of the collections are anticipated.
