A plan for the development of the collections at the University Law Library of the Paris 12 Val-de-Marne University

A collection development plan (PDC) was set up at the Law Library of the Paris 12 University. The preliminary stages in its draft were made up of: a survey of users, the weeding of stock, an evaluation of the collection according to quantitative and qualitative criteria; and the establishment of a list of the authenticated law classmarks. The drawing up of rules for acquisition, for communication, for conservation; and for the weeding of all media have been achieved. On completion, the PDC will detail the specific objectives quantified for each section of the collection and by medium.
