New developments in information literacy
As many publications from Anglo-Saxon professional associations demonstrate, the concept of information literacy is used indifferently to describe either individual characteristics or educational initiatives involved in order to help individuals to acquire these characteristics. The different types of libraries (school, university, public or special) invest in training programmes which are often an opportunity for institutional exchange. Procedures for a standard form of evaluation are under review.
