From proximity imposed to proximity proposed, the Herault's BDP network: an essay in restructuring

Since its inception, one of the roles of BCPs has been to make up for a countrywide inequality in providing a public library service within easy access. The author of this article discusses the example of the BDP in the Herault which has decided to reconstruct its network, its services and its internal organization, by relying on an administrative and political tool, intercommunity relationships.
