Shared reading: bridging the gap
Is there a link between public libraries and schools? There is little or no contact with secondary schools. Where primary schools are concerned, librarians introduce children to the library -which takes up much time and energy but remains very consumerist. The author of the article proposes the cooperation between librarians and teachers around reading methods which are based on three elements: groups, literature and shared tasks.
