"The bookselling business: because a book is a product like no other"

The contract for Plan État-Région 2000-2002 in Rhône-Alpes contains in its "culture" section a series of measures in favour of the bookselling business. In 2002 a promotion campaign was implemented for the local booksellers network, the objective being to remind people that the book is not like any other merchandise. By means of this campaign, the Rhône-Alpes booksellers hope to enter into a quality charter with the public.
