You must filter the Internet. But then again...
Organised by the BBF and Enssib on March 25 of this year, in the setting of the Salon du livre de Paris, the debate "You must filter the Internet. But then again..." gave an opportunity for various points of view to be put forward, including conflicting ones, on access to the Internet. Starting from the American example, the filtering of information has been analysed from administrative, economic and political points of view. If some of the contributors have urged freedom of information, others have underlined the perverse effects of absolute freedom, unsupervised and uncontrolled, of access to the Internet. One thing is certain: the case remains open.
