Strategies of digitisation: a comparative analysis of two programmes, Bibliothèque nationale de France and Bibliothèque nationale du Québec
National libraries have an important role to play in the setting up of digital collections, for they possess enormous reserves to exploit and develop. But what kind of collection should be created and what contents should be selected?
