The Multi-Frequenters

The library-going public includes a group of users that frequent several libraries. This article seeks to improve knowledge of this phenomenon of multi-frequentation. From an inquiry carried out at Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy, the author seeks, first of all, to measure this phenomenon, then he identifies the determinants in this relationship to libraries before showing the specific modalities of their use of this type of resource. Finally, the author ends by differentiating these "multifrequenters" into three types: the borrowers, the visitors and the transients.
