The Union Catalogue of France
The Bibliothèque nationale de France has been delegated to oversee the preparation of the Union Catalogue of France (Catalogue collectif de France). The Répertoire national des bibliothèques et centres de documentation constitutes the first step, and is available on-line on the Internet. The authors present the principal objectives of the project, the steps towards its realization, the architecture of the system and the services offered to the end-user.
