Francophone Medical Sites on the Internet: The Duty of Interference by Libraries
To complement the possibilities offered by search engines and multidisciplinary directories, it seems more necessary than ever that librarians and archivists put their know-how at the service of the Internet in order to organize the available information. In particular, the indexing, cataloguing, classification, description and validation of francophone medical sites would seem to be the order of the day. It is this that the authors of this article attempt to do on the site operated by the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Rouen. The publishers's catalogues are also tackled from this point of view.
