National and Regional Development, Culture and Libraries
Since the last few years, national and regional development has been taking part in cultural development. On the occasion of a interministerial committee or thanks to the National and Regional Development Act, orientations have been defined and dispositions have been undertaken or studied to better consider the territorial dimension of cultural departmental policies. These dispositions on cultural supply are looking for a better service in all areas by new structures, but also by the stronger mobilization of present ones favouring links between boroughs, by networks and polyvalence and with objectives of diffusion. The book and reading network is directly concerned, reading is mostly the first cultural entrance and the network is already working well.
