The National library of Russia : the new building
The first public library of Russia - now National library of Russia - has celebrated its 200 years of existence in May 1995. After a history and a description of the working conditions, of reception of the public and of the book conservation as they are today, the author presents the project of construction of a new building, its architectural features and the services it will offers.
