New technologies for grey literature

The improvement of the location and access to grey literature is subjected to a large use of new technologies of information, at the different stages of documents processing. An electronic line « from start to finish » (from the author to the reader) is organized in the « poles » of the national programme called Griseli. The operation is composed of three main characteristics which fit in at once with the perspectives of information superhighways : the constitution of a divided network, the use of the SGML standard immediately after the elaboration of the grey literature document and the electronic provision of documents.
