When books begin to talk

With the revival of professional storytellers, the tale has an important role in the pedagogy of reading. French libraries are bringing into play towards children, teenagers, and/or low readers. It is a pedagogy by art, the objective being to give the taste for reading. The author tries to analyze the essential link between " oral word " and " written word ". Two examples of tale workshops are proposed : one for children, the other for teenagers. The tale would be the first step of literary creation : the oral aspect does not seem to be an obstacle, but on the contrary is a mediation towards the pleasure of the text, the desire to read or to write.
