Concerning the use of bibliographical biomedical CD-Rom

The survey about the use of bibliographical and medical CD-Rom (April-July 1993) at the medical library of the Unité pédagogique médicale (Bibliothèque interuniversitaire de Montpellier) had for purpose to examine their use from a bibliographical point of view. The main conclusions show our patrons'great satisfaction, but also the search difficulties, well known but not resolved, particularly to find the right subject access. The main difficulties are the keyboard, the printing of the results and the English language. Our users'answers express a great need for documentation training, how to use computer and scientific English. The link with the other bibliographical products, in particular with the library catalogues is realized, even if it is not completely satisfactory.
