Automation in an old library : the example of the bibliothèque interuniversitaire de médecine
The bibliothèque interuniversitaire de médecine, Cadist for medecine and odontostomatology has undertaken the automation of its services.The constraint due to the premises made the adjonction of new automated services. Microcomputerised solution has been choosen for the staff services. Periodicals control, statistics of the reading room, management and payment procedure of inter-library loans, accounting have been automated.
