Statistics in the libraries and edition
Six years of standardization in the estimation of the results obtained by the libraries. In 1987, AFNOR adopts the standards which existed internationally, as reference texts. At the end of 1992, it votes for an European status of the ISO standard about the statistics of the libraries. France contributes like this to keep balance between Anglo-Saxon countries and South of Europe, and between industrialized and developing countries.
