Continuing education in libraries
The development of public reading, of librarians status, of libraries authorities within the evolution of civil services in the 80ies emphasizes the importance of continuing education in libraries. The experiences of the National Library, of the BPI, of the libraries of Paris and of the Mediathèque de la Villette help other libraries to improve such trainings. Through such a continuing education librarian's identity is getting in a new frame.
