An English documentary network

Hatrics is a general information system, created in 1964, which collects the industrial and commercial documentation in a region (Hampshire, Dorset, Somesert). It is an association of 500 members (from public and private sectors, big and small firms, academic institutions). Its structure is a pyramidal one : on the top, the « fundamental » members (public sector which provides information) ; in the centre, the members from public and private sectors, at the same time information providers and users ; down below, the members who are basically information users (most of all from private firms). This specific information network seems to have perfectly reach its objectives.
