IFLA-UNESCO
These two associations have been in relationship for morethan forty years long. By an agreement signed in 1948, UNESCO finances IFLA's international sessions, researches and studies. In spite of some political disagreements during the seventies, this cooperation goes on in many fields (cataloguing, access to publications...) ; especially about the librarianship development in the Third World.
