The British Library Document Supply Centre

The British Library Document Supply Centre is for many French librarians an almost mythical library, supposed to provide everything, but costly. In fact, not many people know it very well. After several stays in this institution, the author describes its place within the British Library, its geographic position, its functioning and its promotional policy. The most important problem is our dependance to it. It's good to know that problem to take care of it and try in part not to have it as an only source.
