The hypercatalogs : new perspectives for the OPAC
This paper is doing the state of the art about hypertext technic applied on Online public access catalog (OPAC). This technic improves traditional OPAC, once when consulting the index list in a non linear way, secondly when browsing in the bibliographic information, by generating online searches with arguments selected in displayed information. These new research perspectives could as well improve access to larger data bases including thesaurus or classification list.
