The reading space : new strategies of communication

Theory of collection arrangement practices: this concept applies to an overall presentation, from the physical equipment (circulations, inside fitting, furniture, site) to the book classification and arrangement on the shelves (signs, logotypes). The author defends the classification by centre of interest which " places the book where the reader expects to find it "; this type of classification gathers all the documents (printed and audiovisual) dealing with the same subject instead of splitting them by topic and by type.
