The users of the Minitel at Beaubourg : a short ethnography
The BPI has been carrying out an experiment during 15 days : a Minitel has been placed at the public's disposal in the Actuality room. From the systematic study of the various behaviours, the author reviews the different methods of use and draws the profile of the users. It seems that the Minitel does not bring on a special consulting type : the variety of uses shows that the status of the Minitel has not been settled yet.
