Centers for acquisition and dissemination of scientifical and technical information : an information policy from the « Ministère des universités »

As part of the information plan pursued by the « Ministère des universités », eleven « Centres d'acquisition et de diffusion de l'information scientifique et technique » -Centers for acquisition and dissemination of scientific and technical information- were created on January lst, 1981. They have two functions : to obtain the most complete information concerning their special subject areas and to simplify access to primary sources.
