Training in reception skills and developing emotional intelligence: a study in the Rouen library system

Staff working at Rouen libraries are currently undergoing group training in reception skills, despite a difficult context. The company Dynamic Solutions offers training in emotional intelligence (identifying, expressing, understanding, and managing emotions), using a dynamic, inductive, participatory training method to familiarise staff with the skills used to improve services to library users. The article presents the various stages of the training process and the initial results.
