A Document Acquisitions Charter at the Bibliothèque nationale de France
The processes which have driven the elaboration of the Charte documentaire des acquisitions de la Bibliothèque Nationale (The Document Acquisitions Charter at the French National Library) have attempted to be pragmatic. Initiated in 2000, they take into account the complexity of the establishment and reaffirm the main principles which until now have underpinned the acquisitions policy. The on-line version of the Charte (in January 2005) will allow for easy updating of the text.
