Adaptation of the Documentary Norms and Formats to the Computerized Management of Bibliographical Corpora

The authors of this article describe the adaptation of documentary norms and formats in force to the computerized management of bibliographical corpora stemming from a multi-perspectival interrogation. Cataloguing norms (ISBD, AACR2) or editorial norms (Vancouver, APA) can serve the homogeneization of entry structures. The formats for data exchange (MARC, SGML) regulate their computer coding. The standardization of field contents obeys specific norms: date, language, type of publication, periodical title, country, author affiliation, descriptors. Finally, the univocal identification systems (BIBLID, SICI) or a code specifically adapted (Meyer-Uhlenreid) can be used for the doubling of entries.
