Thanks to the results of a survey of Parisian libraries carried out in partnership with the Obervatoire permanent de la lecture publique à Paris, we know today, in a more precise and overall manner, the library-going public in Paris. The survey has contributed to establishing a profile and has made their library activities and documentary demands evident. Equally, it has allowed the form and motivation of their visits to be defined, as well as their satisfaction with the services on offer. A new approach thanks to an original point of view.
