The Functions of University Library Personnel
This article presents the results of an inquiry into the functions of university library personnel which shows the effect, in terms of staffing, of the discipline served by the documentary unit. For the most part, university libraries can be considered, with regard to their human resources, as a regrouping of documentary units serving a unique disciplinary field.
