Reinforcing the Quality of the Reception in Lyon's Libraries
At the outset of the re-organization of the Part-Dieu library into thematic departments orientated more towards readers' demands, a structural approach to the quality of reception was put in place. A steering committee has followed the project. Two inquiries are in progress, the one on the manner in which the personnel perceives the activity of reception and the notion of the quality of service, and the other, on the degree of satisfaction among users, most particularly on the recourse to personnel, the availability of works on free access, the central reception point. Several tracks were identified, three of which have been retained : the telephone, reception and information posts, notices.
