The Use of Electronic Sources by Teachers and Researchers

The form of information has always been of particular importance to the university public. The products of electronic publishing have completely changed the acquisition process and the development of knowledge : to what extent do the research practices of scholars find themselves renewed ? This qualitative study, carried out at Bordeaux, reveals large disparities in the use of the Internet. Nevertheless, whatever the extent to which the network and information and communication technologies have been integrated into regular usage, these features are now carved into the continuity of former cultural habits, confirming the dynamic of social evolution in research materials.
