The Organization of the Services of the County Library of Haut-Rhin

The rate of service provided by the County Library of Haut-Rhin to communities of less than 15,000 inhabitants has been close to 100 % for the last thirty years. To continue to guarantee this level of service for all the communities and even to improve upon it, the Council has adopted a management plan which, with the assurance of regional coverage thanks to a library bus for direct loans which their depot has completely refurbished has encouraged the creation of multimedia libraries for the boroughs located in town centres and public libraries in response to a real demand. The mission of the County Library is to guarantee the constitution, the coherence and the organization of the whole network, through a partnership between the fixed resources and the itinerant service.
