Documentary Tutoring : A Pilot Experiment

This article analyses the training in documentary and bibliographic resources given to first year students by students in the information sciences, as well as the methods and pedagogical choices developed to give the students autonomy in documentary practice. The pilot experiment is an integral part of dard (device for aid to success in the deug-general university studies diploma) which the University of Toulouse-Le Mirail has had in place since 1992. It relies on the training supplied by the department of Archives and media resources.
