Does the sun rise in the East ? Thoughts on the situation of biomedical libraries in Eastern Europe
The recent changes in Eastern Europe have also concerned the libraries. Their economical situation is all the more disastrous since budget restrictions and lack of currency do not allowed them to buy necessary documents. The action of Occident on behalf of these libraries would have to rely on some guiding lines so that they could take care of their development.
