University libraries from 1945 to 1975 : figures and statistics sources
From 1945 to 1975 the actual look of the French university libraries started to take shape. But for that period figured sources are rather scattered and give incomplete series. This article tries to put together available data, describing the evolution of users, means and services of the university libraries from 1945 to 1975. It calls for further investigations in a little studied area of French libraries.
