Non-fiction books for the young

As the results of inquiries on the tastes and reading habits of the young show, since 1961, the interest of children and adolescents grows for non-fiction books. This study offers us a panorama of recently published documentary French books, on three themes : nature, sciences and techniques, history and travels, according to the age of the reader. It both proposes a critical method to evaluate the non-fiction literature for the young and answers the questions about the functions of this non-fiction printed matter
