Combining a multimedia library and conservatoire under one roof in Trente, central France

The multimedia library in Trente started sharing premises with the regional dance and music conservatoire in 2012. The two work together on a daily basis to attract new users, build collections, and host a joint programme of events. While the building's architecture naturally brings the two teams together, experience has shown that it takes more than just sharing premises to put on meaningful cultural events. As always, the enthusiasm of the staff is vital in planning a significant programme of events taking into account the wants and needs of the local community.
